Support our Outdoor Education team to deliver safe, engaging, and adventure‑based learning. Assist with activities, equipment, student guidance, and excursions.

<p>As an Outdoor Education Teacher Assistant, you’ll help deliver safe, engaging activities that support skill development, personal growth, and environmental understanding.</p>
<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support teachers in delivering outdoor activities and field‑based learning.</li>
<li>Help prepare, organise, and maintain equipment and resources.</li>
<li>Guide students through hands‑on challenges that build confidence and resilience.</li>
<li>Assist students with routines such as navigation basics and gear management.</li>
<li>Provide care and support for students’ physical, social, and emotional needs, and assist during excursions and school routines.</li>
<li>Promote positive behaviour and teamwork outdoors.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You:</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Qualifications or experience in Education Support, Outdoor Education, Outdoor Recreation, Youth Work, or related areas.</li>
<li>A genuine passion for helping students learn and grow.</li>
<li>Confidence working outdoors and supporting a variety of physical and adventure activities.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Up to date First Aid Certificate, Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration and current National Police Criminal History Check (NPCHC).</li>

<p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p>
