School Receptionist (Temporary, 2 Days/Week – First Aid Required)

Marian Catholic College is seeking a capable and proactive School Receptionist to join our welcoming school community on a short-term basis. This is a hands-on, front office role where no two days are the same.
You will support students, staff and families as the first point of contact, manage sick bay as the primary first aider, and maintain accurate student records using Compass. Due to the short duration of this role, prior Compass experience and a current First Aid certificate are essential.
<p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>Marian Catholic College is seeking applicants for a <strong>Temporary Student Receptionist </strong>role to cover staff leave. This position will be required to work <strong>Mondays and Tuesdays from Monday 4 May 2026 to Tuesday 2 June 2026</strong>, from <strong>8:30am to 3:00pm</strong> (12 hours per week).</p>
<p>This is a front-facing role within a welcoming school community, supporting students, staff and families in a busy office environment.</p>
<p>This position is accountable for a wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including but not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>reception duties (responding to email and phone enquiries from parents, staff, the general public and students)</li>
<li>acting as the primary first aider and managing sick bay</li>
<li>assisting with student enrolments</li>
<li>maintaining student records and database information</li>
<li>photocopying and general administrative support</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Experience and Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>valid Working with Children Check clearance (essential)</li>
<li>current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate and demonstrated first aid experience (essential)</li>
<li>demonstrated experience using Compass (Student Database) is essential – applicants must already be trained and confident in its use, including entering sick bay chronicles, signing students in/out etc. </li>
<li>experience with the following essential:
