We are seeking a full-time dedicated & skilled Property and Maintenance Officer to join our team.

Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We are&nbsp;seeking&nbsp;a dedicated and skilled Property and Maintenance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Property Team Coordinator, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of school facilities and grounds. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, repairs, and liaising with contractors to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a safe and welcoming environment.&nbsp;</p> <p>This position is available as a full-time role.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Perform or arrange necessary repairs and maintenance of equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct building maintenance tasks such as repairing locks, doors, furniture, light fittings, and plumbing; patching holes; touch-up painting; and&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;with renovations and refurbishments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;play areas, grassed areas, and sports fields, including line marking.&nbsp;</li> <li>Plant and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;trees, shrubs, and gardens.&nbsp;</li> <li>Waste Management&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with grounds and property sub-contractors.&nbsp;</li> <li>Report non-programmed maintenance needs to the Property Team Coordinator&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Christian of <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/reformed-theology/" rel="nofollow">Reformed/Evangelical persuasion</a>, active in a church, and able to whole-heartedly subscribe to <a href="http://www.tyndale.edu.au/our-school/educational-creed/" rel="nofollow">Tyndale’s Educational Creed</a>&nbsp;</li> <li>Trade background favourable&nbsp;or&nbsp;Relevant experience in maintenance and building&nbsp;repair, horticulture.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication&nbsp;and teamwork skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of Work Health and Safety standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>First aid qualified (or willingness to obtain)&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The commencement of this position will be by negotiation.&nbsp;</p> <p>For more information about working at Tyndale, please <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Tyndale_Staff-Recruitment-Booklet-1.pdf" rel="nofollow">click here</a> to see a copy of our Staff Recruitment Booklet.&nbsp;</p> <p><i>Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
