The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Property Team Coordinator, ensuring the upkeep and functionality of school facilities and grounds. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, repairs, and liaising with contractors to&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a safe and welcoming environment.&nbsp;</p> <p>This position is available as a full-time role.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Perform or arrange necessary repairs and maintenance of equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct building maintenance tasks such as repairing locks, doors, furniture, light fittings, and plumbing; patching holes; touch-up painting; and&nbsp;assisting&nbsp;with renovations and refurbishments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepare and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;play areas, grassed areas, and sports fields, including line marking.&nbsp;</li> <li>Plant and&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;trees, shrubs, and gardens.&nbsp;</li> <li>Waste Management&nbsp;</li> <li>Liaise with grounds and property sub-contractors.&nbsp;</li> <li>Report non-programmed maintenance needs to the Property Team Coordinator&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Christian of <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/reformed-theology/" rel="nofollow">Reformed/Evangelical persuasion</a>, active in a church, and able to whole-heartedly subscribe to <a href="http://www.tyndale.edu.au/our-school/educational-creed/" rel="nofollow">Tyndale’s Educational Creed</a>&nbsp;</li> <li>Trade background favourable&nbsp;or&nbsp;Relevant experience in maintenance and building&nbsp;repair, horticulture.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication&nbsp;and teamwork skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of Work Health and Safety standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>First aid qualified (or willingness to obtain)&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The commencement of this position will be by negotiation.&nbsp;</p> <p>For more information about working at Tyndale, please <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Tyndale_Staff-Recruitment-Booklet-1.pdf" rel="nofollow">click here</a> to see a copy of our Staff Recruitment Booklet.&nbsp;</p> <p><i>Tyndale is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
