St Dominic’s College, Kingswood is seeking a professional and organised College Receptionist to join our Support Staff team in a full-time fixed-term parental leave position (approx. 12 months). As the first point of contact for students, families and visitors, this role provides front office reception, student administration support and first aid in a busy Catholic secondary school environment.

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>The College is seeking a professional, welcoming and highly organised College Receptionist to join our Support Staff team in a full-time fixed term parental leave position for approximately 12 months. </p>
<p>As the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors the College Receptionist plays a pivotal role in the daily experience of our College community. The position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, sound administrative capability and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment.</p>

<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing reception services to students, families and visitors. </li>
<li>Manage incoming calls and enquiries in a courteous and timely manner</li>
<li>Maintain accurate student attendance records. </li>
<li>Provide first aid support to students </li>
<li>Support daily operation and administrative processes of the College. </li>
<li>Uphold confidentiality and adhere to College policies and procedures</li>
<li>Contribute to a positive, respectful and child-safe environment. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p>
<p>Applicants must demonstrate:</p>
<ol>
<li>A commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the College, including support for the Edmund Rice tradition</li>
<li>Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role (school experience highly regarded). </li>
<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. </li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems (desirable). </li>
<li>The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. </li>
<li>High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail. </li>

<p><strong>Mandatory Employment Requirements</strong></p>
<p>Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of all required employment screening, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>A valid NSW Working With Children Check</li>
<li>Current First Aid certificate or willing to obtain prior to commencement</li>

<p><strong>Employment Conditions</strong></p>
<p>Support Staff at St Dominic’s College are employed under the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Support Staff – Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This position is employed on an averaged salary arrangement working approximately 40 weeks per year, with pay averaged over 52 weeks to include time off during school holiday periods.</p>
<p>The salary will be reflective of qualifications and experience, with an estimated pro rata annual salary between $78 707 and $81 730 </p>
