Our schools are places of learning, connection, and growth, guided by the values of Wisdom, Justice, Courage,</p> <p>Compassion and Love.</p> <p><br><strong>The position:</strong></p> <p>The<strong> WHS &amp; Risk Manager</strong> provides proactive leadership and organisational support to ensure regulatory compliance and embed a contemporary risk management framework. This role drives improved processes and outcomes while fostering a culture of safety readiness across the organisation. You will be required to travel to remote locations, including occasional overnight stays.</p> <p>This is a full-time permanent position, commencing as soon as possible.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee the operation and function of CENT WHS and WC/RTW through the WHS Officer.</li> <li>Manage the relationship with SafeNT and NTG Crisis Management teams.</li> <li>Maintain the safety reporting database and associated dashboards.</li> <li>Manage CENT’s Modern Slavery legal obligations and ACAN initiatives.</li> <li>Deliver expert advice and leadership to School Leaders and School Business Managers in WHS and Risk Management.</li> <li>Conduct internal and external WHS and Risk audits across schools.</li> <li>Identify, recommend and support operational improvements to CENT processes, policies, management approaches and tools in WHS and Risk Management.</li> </ul> <p>Full details of the role and requirements can be found in the Position Description within the Application Package.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>You are passionate about safety and risk management and driven to build workplaces where safety is embedded and proactive.
