In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.<br> A leading Uniting Church School, Knox aims to develop students of Faith, Wisdom, Integrity, Compassion and Courage within a caring Christian environment.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong><br> Knox Preparatory School is currently seeking a passionate and experienced educational leader to join us as Director of Teaching and Learning K-6. This is a Permanent Full-time position commencing in Term 2, 2026. The Director of Teaching and Learning focuses on identifying learning needs, strengthening teaching practice, and aligning teaching and learning goals to improve both teacher performance and student outcomes.<br> Reporting to the Head of the Prep School, a key priority of this role is building leadership capacity by coaching grade-level Team Leaders and supporting specialist teachers, ensuring their expertise is valued and included in decision-making.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Design and implement innovative, engaging curriculum<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Create leadership opportunities for teaching staff<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain strong communication and engagement with parents<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure compliance with School Registration requirements<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee Parent–Teacher Interviews and school reporting&nbsp;<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Conduct school tours, parent information sessions, and new student orientation interviews<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead and mentor specialist teachers and year-level Team Leaders<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Support Team Leaders in developing and achieving Professional Learning Plan goals<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Model effective pedagogy through demonstration lessons and team teaching<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Contribute to recruitment and selection processes as required<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinate NAPLAN compliance, analyse and communicate results to staff, leadership, and the wider school community</p> <p><br><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong><br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to support teachers at varying levels of proficiency in a positive and collaborative manner<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise competing responsibilities<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth through professional learning, networks, and independent study<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong analytical skills to inform decisions about student learning and teacher development<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong understanding of NESA standards and their practical application<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and foster a strong team culture<br> • &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficiency in analysing and communicating data to inform practice and decision-making</p> <p><strong>OUR OFFER</strong><br> Our staff across all campuses are key to providing exceptional experiences.
