<p>St Michael’s Primary School is a small Catholic co-educational primary school located in the rural township of Heyfield, approximately 40 kilometres from Traralgon and 35 kilometres from Sale. The school prides itself on being a welcoming community where everyone is valued and respected.</p> <p>Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for an Ongoing (0.18 FTE) position as an Administration Officer commencing Friday 13th March 2026. Work Day will be Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education, along with a clear dedication to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children.&nbsp;</p> <p>They will possess appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience, show enthusiasm and capability across a broad range administrative functions, and be able to provide effective support to the Principal while upholding and respecting the school’s ethos and community.</p> <p>This role requires:<br> - Strong communication skills in standard English and a clear, calm and respectful phone manner<br> - Proficiency in data entry, use of Microsoft Office suite and some knowledge of Google suite for Education, touch typing skills preferred<br> - Willingness to learn (and attend professional learning for) school software packages, phone system, public address (PA) system<br> - A person who is organised, team focused, demonstrates strong emotional awareness and interpersonal skills, is able to re/prioritise</p> <p>Appointment to the role will be subject to a current Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
