<p>St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at our Padua Campus in Wanniassa, and Years 10 to 12 at our St Peter’s Campus in Isabella Plains. <p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>
<p>The IT Support Officer at St Mary MacKillop College plays a crucial role in maintaining the school’s digital teaching and learning environment by providing first-line technical support to staff, students, and parents across two campuses. They are responsible for diagnosing and resolving a wide range of IT issues related to hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities. In addition to responding to service requests, they manage IT assets, perform installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance, and document technical procedures and solutions. The role demands strong technical expertise, excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and contribute to continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure and services within the College</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Eligibility</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1 to 3 years of experience in a working IT environment, supporting users with computing devices and accounts.</li>
<li>A computing degree or Certificate IV in a technology discipline is expected.</li>
<li>ACT Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP).</li>
</ul>
