<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a part-time Communications Assistant to join our dynamic Strategy & Marketing team and help bring our School’s stories to life. Working closely with the Communications Manager, you will support the creation and coordination of engaging content across newsletters, social media, the School website and publications. You will be a key liaison point within the School, helping to capture and share stories that celebrate learning, achievement and community life.</p>
<p>This is a <strong>busy and rewarding role</strong> that suits someone who is organised, proactive and confident juggling multiple priorities.</p>
<p><strong>Part-time hours:</strong><br>
• 3 days per week (8:00am–4:00pm)<br>
• Flexibility offered to accommodate study or other commitments<br>
• Occasional work outside these hours may be required, with time off in lieu</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate and produce the weekly School newsletter</li>
<li>Develop and publish engaging content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)</li>
<li>Assist with website updates, stories and events</li>
<li>Capture photos and video of School activities and achievements</li>
<li>Support publicity, media monitoring and content pitching</li>
<li>Assist with communications projects and publications</li>
<li>Maintain communication workflows and systems</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in communications, marketing or writing</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills</li>
<li>Confidence working in a professional, fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Sound IT skills, including Microsoft Office and social media platforms</li>
<li>Organisation, adaptability and a genuine willingness to learn</li>
<li>A collaborative approach and strong customer service mindset</li>
</ul>
