<p>The Learning Diversity Teacher / Learning Specialist provides support for students with additional learning needs through:</p> <ul> <li>Designing, implementing and reviewing of Individual Learning Plans (ILP's);</li> <li>Facilitating Pupil Support Group (PSG) meetings;</li> <li>Staffing the Learning Hub;</li> <li>Designing and delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions (numeracy, literacy and/or behavior);</li> <li>Building the capacity of classroom teachers in making learning adjustments, and in modifying work, and</li> <li>Assisting in the development and management of Learning Support Officers</li> </ul> <p>Whilst the position is advertised as full time, part time of 0.6 or more would also be considered.</p> <p>The position would be ideal for a teacher who has experience in learning intervention or who is interested in further study in this field.
