We are a Catholic Coeducational Secondary College with two campuses, set on approximately 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and playing fields. Our science teachers cultivate in students a strong foundation in scientific reasoning and inquiry. At MacKillop, our Chemistry teachers deepen this understanding through a deliberate integration of theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring students develop both conceptual clarity and laboratory competence.</p>
<p>From junior secondary through to VCE, students build strong foundations in atomic theory, chemical and biochemical reactions, stoichiometry, energy transformations and analytical techniques. Alongside this knowledge, they develop precision, accuracy and confidence in practical work. The Chemistry curriculum strengthens students’ ability to apply chemical principles, conduct safe and methodical laboratory investigations, analyse and interpret data, and communicate scientific findings with clarity.</p>
<p>At MacKillop, the curriculum is carefully planned, coherent and well-sequenced programs that are responsive to student learning needs and aligned with clear learning goals. Learning experiences are grounded in real-world application, enabling students to see scientific thinking as meaningful, relevant and transferable beyond the classroom.</p>

<p><strong>This is a permanent, full-time position; however, part-time applications will also be considered. The successful applicant will commence in Term 1, 2026.</strong></p>
