<p><strong>Full-time, fixed term until June 2027</strong><br><strong>$118,234 - $138,496 per annum + superannuation</strong></p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The Education Officer: Wellbeing Secondary strengthens safe, inclusive and respectful learning environments across schools. The role leads system-wide wellbeing initiatives, builds the capability of educators and leaders, and supports the Out of Home Care and Mental Health in Primary initiatives. It involves designing and delivering professional learning, developing data-informed practices, and collaborating with schools, community partners and agencies to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people.</p>

<p>You will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to Catholic identity, mission and values.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in evidence-based teaching and learning approaches that enhance student wellbeing.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (e.g. School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support).</li>
<li>Ability to build educator and leader capability in student wellbeing and child safety.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing and implementing complex projects.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support system-wide wellbeing priorities, polices and initiatives</li>
<li>Partner with schools to develop data-informed wellbeing practices</li>
<li>Strengthen approaches that promote student safety, engagement and belonging</li>
<li>Design and facilitate professional learning for leaders and wellbeing networks</li>
<li>Develop resources that support student wellbeing, health and safety</li>
<li>Maintain strong partnerships with government and community agencies</li>
<li>Stay informed of research, legislation and Church teachings that impact student wellbeing and learning</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualification in Education (essential)</li>
<li>Relevant postgraduate or academic qualifications in a related discipline (e.g. psychology, social work, counselling, occupational therapy, psychiatric nursing)</li>
<li>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching</li>
<li>Current Victorian driver’s licence</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience in delivering evidence-based, data-informed wellbeing practices</li>
<li>Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems and building educator capacity</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support effective implementation across schools</li>
