Marian Catholic College is seeking a dedicated and organised Library Technician to join our learning community on a permanent basis. This position is 70 hours per fortnight, with part-time arrangements considered depending on applications received. The Library Technician works closely with the staff to support student learning and the effective operation of the Library / Learning Resource Centre.

<p><strong>Library Technician</strong></p> <p><strong>Marian Catholic College, Kenthurst</strong></p> <p>Marian Catholic College is seeking a dedicated and organised&nbsp;<strong>Library Technician</strong> to join our learning community on a permanent basis.</p> <p>This position is&nbsp;<strong>70 hours per fortnight</strong>, with part-time arrangements considered depending on applications received.</p> <p>The Library Technician works closely with the staff to support student learning and the effective operation of the Library / Learning Resource Centre.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supporting students and staff in accessing library and learning resources</li> <li>Managing cataloguing, circulation and maintenance of library collections</li> <li>Supporting the use of current digital and learning technologies</li> <li>Assisting with printing, photocopying and basic troubleshooting</li> <li>Supporting student supervision within the library</li> <li>Maintaining an organised, welcoming and productive learning environment</li> <li>General administrative and library support duties as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Requirements</strong></p> <p>We uphold the highest standards of child protection, workplace safety, and professional conduct. To be eligible for this role, you must have:</p> <ul> <li>A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWC)</li> <li>Willingness and capacity to complete all mandatory CSPD training requirements, including WHS training</li> <li>An understanding of, or willingness to follow, WHS, child safeguarding, and workplace policies and procedures</li> <li>Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Confidence using library systems and current technologies</li> <li>The ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> <li>A flexible, professional and positive approach to work</li> </ul> <p>Relevant qualifications and/or experience in library services, information management or administration will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>About Us:</strong></p> <p>Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is a caring community with a family atmosphere linking parents, students, and staff.
