Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. <p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong><br>
The People and Culture Advisor is a key member of the People and Culture team, supporting the delivery of high quality HR services across the School. The role contributes to employee wellbeing, organisational culture and the achievement of the School’s strategic objectives.<br>
You’ll manage a designated portfolio of amazing stakeholders, acting as their trusted Advisor. The People & Culture Advisor is actively involved in end-to-end recruitment, industrial relations, performance management, coaching and providing advice across the HR spectrum.</p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES;</strong><br>
• Provide practical guidance to staff and leaders on People and Culture policies and procedures <br>
• Support end to end recruitment and induction, including candidate communication and contract preparation <br>
• Support the management of grievances, complaints, and workplace investigations in line with policy and legislation.<br>
• Manage day to day HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding <br>
• Track and action key employment milestones such as probation periods and contract renewals <br>
• Prepare routine employee correspondence and support leave administration processes <br>
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with compliance reporting (e.g. Working With Children Checks) </p>
<p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p>
<p>To be successful, you will have:</p>
<p>• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline <br>
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a People and Culture or HR generalist role, ideally within a complex environment <br>
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and contemporary HR practices <br>
• Recruitment experience, including candidate screening and shortlisting (interviewing experience desirable) <br>
• Experience using HR systems (HRIS); LMS administration experience is advantageous <br>
• A current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)</p>
