If you love solving complex IT challenges and making a real impact in a collaborative, values-driven environment, this could be the role for you!<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>Full Position Description:<a href="https://www.scbc.wa.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2026-02-Job-Description-IT-Network-and-Security-Administrator-1.pdf" rel="nofollow"> IT Network and Security Administrator</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Administer, maintain, and secure the College’s IT systems, including networks, servers, endpoints, firewalls, and identity platforms.</li> <li>Monitor, respond, and remediate cybersecurity incidents, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practice.</li> <li>Support day-to-day operations across IT infrastructure, cloud services, and telephony systems.</li> <li>Lead improvements in IT security, business continuity, and endpoint management.</li> <li>Collaborate with the IST Team and provide technical guidance to staff and students.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Selection Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.</li> <li>Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a network, systems, or security administration role.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Intune, virtualisation, scripting, and cybersecurity principles.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li> <li>Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach.</li> <li>Capacity to learn, adapt, and manage multiple projects and priorities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Vendor certifications (Microsoft, Fortinet, HPE Aruba).</li> <li>IT Service Management qualifications such as ITIL.</li> <li>Experience working in an education or multi-site environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.</li> <li>Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.</li> <li>Acceptance of the College’s Statement of Faith.</li> <li>Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board, Principal, staff, students, and parents.</li> <li>Commitment to personal best practice.</li> <li>Ensure decisions are impartial, fact-based, and fair.</li> <li>Model appropriate and proper channels of communication.</li> <li>Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos.</li> <li>Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.</li> <li>Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College’s values and policies.</li> <li>Possession of the following certifications: <ul> <li>National Police Clearance</li> <li>Working with Children Check</li> <li>First Aid Certificate</li> </ul></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Application Deadline: Sunday, 22nd February 2026</strong></p> <p><i>South Coast Baptist College reserves the right to fill this position prior to the closing date.</i></p> <p>When applying, please ensure you include the following documents:</p> <ul> <li>Covering letter</li> <li>Resume</li> </ul> <p>Copy of:</p> <ul> <li>Working with Children Check</li> <li>Relevant qualification certificates / academic transcripts</li> <li>Visa / Residency Status / Passport</li> <li>Driver’s license</li> <li>First Aid Certificate</li> <li>National Police Clearance</li> <li>Pastor / Christian Leader’s reference</li> </ul> <p>For questions, please contact our HR team at:<br> Phone: (08) 9540 4406<br> Email: <a href="mailto:HR@scbc.wa.edu.au?subject=IT%20Network%20and%20Security%20Administrator%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">HR@scbc.wa.edu.au</a></p>
