<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join the Education Support Team as Sport and Outdoor Education Assistant.</p> <p>The Sport and Outdoor Education Assistant assists with the administration of the College’s Sporting and Outdoor Education Programs.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with the scheduling and management of sporting trials and trainings.</li> <li>Assist with the coaching of sporting teams as required.</li> <li>Assist with the organisation of school carnivals and other sporting events.</li> <li>Assist with the planning and organisation of Years 7-10 Outdoor Education camps.</li> <li>Assist the Director of Sport and the Director of Outdoor Education with administration tasks as requested.</li> <li>Attend school camps and excursions as required.</li> <li>Attend CGSAV, SEGAP and other sporting carnivals and events as required.</li> <li>Maintain sporting and outdoor education equipment and resources.</li> <li>Maintain the sports storeroom including stock control and purchasing.</li> <li>Prepare equipment and kits for sporting competitions, events and camps.</li> <li>Attend Sport and Outdoor Education meetings as required.</li> <li>Other duties as directed by the Director of Sport and Director of Outdoor Education.</li> </ul> <p>This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE) with 15.2 hours per week to be worked across a minimum of 3 days.</p> <p>The appointment is a fixed-term parental leave replacement and will conclude on 17 September 2027.</p> <p>A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic Education and to the safety and wellbeing of children, along with a willingness to be involved in the life of Sacred Heart Girls’ College is required.</p> <p>For more information, including the Position Description and Application Form, please visit the College's website - <a href="https://www.shgc.vic.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">www.shgc.vic.edu.au/employment</a></p> <p>All applications MUST be submitted through <a href="https://www.seek.com.au/job/90117741?ref=cm-ui" rel="nofollow">SEEK</a> and include:</p> <ul> <li>Cover Letter addressed to Principal Julie Swanson</li> <li>Current CV</li> <li>Application Form&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applications close 9.00am Monday 16 February 2026.</strong></p> <p><i>Sacred Heart Girls' College is an equal opportunity employer that promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</i></p>
