A Full Time, Fixed Term teaching position exists for an enthusiastic teacher to join the team at St. Brigid’s in a Parental Leave replacement position. The position commences on Monday, 20th April 2026 and concludes on Tuesday,26th January 2027, with a strong potential for ongoing enrolment in 2027.

from suitably experienced persons for the full-time fixed-term position of Classroom Teacher to commence on Monday, 20th April 2026 and concludes on Tuesday, 26 January, 2027, with a strong potential for ongoing enrolment in 2027.&nbsp;</p> <p>All positions are classified under the&nbsp;<i>Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022</i>.</p> <p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, and be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.</p> <p>The successful applicant will hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Role child-connected work</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Teaching qualifications</li> <li>Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration</li> <li>Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or be working towards such accreditation)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Other:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Accreditation to Teach Religious Education&nbsp;</li> <li>Relevant post-graduate studies (or working towards such qualifications)</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding and experience of the learning and teaching pedagogy associated with the Victorian Curriculum</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in using ICT to teach subject area</li> <li>Preference for experience in inquiry based learning and use of student data to maximise learning outcomes</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills/Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work as part of a team&nbsp;</li> <li>Good oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with children, parents and the school community</li> <li>Experience and proven record in effective learning and teaching skills, including management of composite classes/mixed ability classes&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children</li> <li>Demonstrated capacity to participate in a range of school activities, e.g.
