<p>St Christopher’s Primary School is seeking to employ a classroom teacher, beginning April 20, 2026 to join our dynamic teaching team.</p> <p>The position is full-time for a fixed contract until the end of 2026; however, there is a possibility of the position being available beyond 2026 and ongoing employment.&nbsp;</p> <p>St Christopher’s is seeking a teacher who is dedicated to catering for the individual needs of students and creating a positive classroom climate. The candidate must be a team player.</p> <p>The successful applicant must have:(criteria)</p> <ul> <li>strong relationship skills with students, staff and parents</li> <li>an understanding and commitment to the MACS 2030 Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement</li> <li>ability to use data to inform teaching in order to meet the individual needs of all students, especially in Maths and English</li> <li>ability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment</li> <li>a passion for teaching</li> <li>the ability to work within a team</li> <li>current VIT registration</li> <li>be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School and a passion for teaching Religious Education within the Catholic context or prepared to gain accreditation</li> <li>a strong commitment and proven record in Child Safety and the wellbeing of students</li> </ul> <p>St Christopher’s is an inclusive school that values diversity and celebrates differences amongst students.
