Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.<br>

<p><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong><br>
We have an opportunity for a Religion and Ethics Teacher who will be responsible for teaching programs on World Religion, Philosophy and Ethics teaching stages 4 & 5. The ability to teach stage 6 Studies of Religion classes would be advantageous. This is a Full-time permanent position commencing Term 2, 2026 or earlier.<br>
</p>
<p>We seek a teacher who can demonstrate: -<br>
· A variety of effective teaching strategies to engage students of varying abilities on their path to achieving specific learning outcomes.<br>
· Experience in the design, production and administration of various types and levels of assessments tasks.<br>
· Effective student management strategies for all levels of student ability and engagement.<br>
· Well-developed IT skills for:<br>
(i)Integration into classroom strategies.<br>
(ii)Departmental Teaching and Learning initiatives.<br>
(iii)Departmental administrative requirements.<br>
· The desire to be a team player in a collegial department with high expectations of its members and of its students.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have:<br>
· Qualifications in teaching Religious Education (Studies of Religion is advantageous)<br>
· Experience teaching Stages 4, 5 & 6.<br>
· Supportive of the Christian ethos of the Uniting Church.</p>
