St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and suitably qualified Business Studies Teacher to join our outstanding Humanities faculty on a full‑time, ongoing basis.

<p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and suitably qualified <strong>Business Studies Teacher</strong> to join our outstanding Humanities faculty on a full‑time, ongoing basis.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The successful candidate will bring strong subject expertise and a commitment to integrating innovative pedagogy and contemporary classroom practice that both supports and challenges students. They will also demonstrate a strong dedication to teaching excellence and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to learning.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This position offers an excellent opportunity for either a recent graduate or an experienced educator who is committed to continuous professional growth and eager to contribute to high-quality educational outcomes. Experience teaching in other Humanities subject areas, such as Geography and/or Commerce, is desirable but not essential.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Humanities, the successful candidate will support curriculum development, coordinate departmental activities, assist in the administration of assessments, work collaboratively with faculty members to enhance student learning outcomes and contribute to the overall academic and pastoral care of students.</p>

<p>This role will commence in Term II, or as negotiated with the successful candidate.</p>

<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>

<li>Commitment to the Catholic Education of boys in the Jesuit Tradition;</li>
<li>Appropriate Secondary teaching qualifications and eligibility to teach under the requirements of NESA, NSW legislation and College policy;</li>
<li>Prior experience or the capacity to teach Business Studies;</li>
<li>Demonstrate capacity and willingness to teach across other Humanities subject areas, including Geography and/ or Commerce is advantageous;</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with teachers in the development, implementation and evaluation of NESA based programs;</li>
<li>Proven ability to facilitate a warm, engaging and high-quality learning environment that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of all students;</li>
<li>Commitment to academic excellence;</li>
<li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check;</li>
<li>Strong commitment to child safeguarding principles.</li>
