<p>Concordia College, Highgate, SA is seeking to appoint a Secondary School Counsellor to support students in developing strategies to manage individual, peer, social and emotional concerns.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have completed a Diploma of Counselling or a Bachelor of Counselling, along with professional membership with either the Australian Counselling Association or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia or hold relevant qualifications in Psychology along with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.</p> <p>Working under the direction of the Principal and the School Leaders, this role will provide effective and appropriate counselling for students, and one-on-one counselling on a wide range of student concerns. The Counsellor will be pro-active in encouraging and developing resilience in students.</p> <p>We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
