<p>Mawarra Independent School is seeking a passionate and adaptable <strong>High School Teacher</strong> to join our small, connected learning community.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for a teacher who values strong relationships, creativity and who is excited by the opportunity to work within a small team where collaboration, trust, and flexibility are genuinely lived each day.</p>
<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>This is a <strong>flexible secondary teaching position</strong>, based in a Year 7 and 8 multi-age classroom, with learning areas shaped around the strengths and interests of the successful applicant.</p>
<p>Teaching areas must include at least 2 of the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>English</li>
<li>HASS</li>
<li>The Arts</li>
<li>Health and Physical Education</li>
<li>Science</li>
<li>Design and Technologies</li>
</ul>
<p>Our small team works collaboratively to build meaningful programs that suit both staff expertise and student needs.</p>
<p>Classes are <strong>small (approximately 15–20 students)</strong>, allowing teachers to focus on quality teaching, strong relationships, and genuine learning.</p>
