Acting as an extension of the home and the Christian church, our passion is to provide a safe and encouraging Christian community to prepare our students for life beyond the classroom.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The ICT Helpdesk Technician role provides key Level 2 support to resolve second tier help desk enquiries and supports the day-to-day maintenance and running of the School ICT facilities, predominantly at our Mile End Campus.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing the second tier of support for staff and students for ICT and in class AV issues either over the phone or in person.</li> <li>Provisioning new accounts and hardware for new staff and students and providing basic training on the use of their device.</li> <li>Coordinating repairs of faulty or damaged equipment that is under warranty or covered by accidental damage policies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be committed to Christ and Christian education.</li> <li>Hold a Certificate III in Information and Communication Technology or equivalent attainment from employment or training background.</li> <li>Have experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues as well as dismantling, repairing and reassembling laptops and desktops.</li> <li>High level of interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Be able to prioritise, demonstrate initiative and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks, while working as an effective member of a collaborative team.</li> <li>Hold a current Drivers Licence as some travel between campuses may be required.</li> <li>Be willing to undertake mandatory child safe training and obtain relevant clearances.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>Applications are invited from committed Christians who are active in church fellowship and suitably qualified to fulfil this position.</p> <p>Applications should include:</p> <ul> <li>Cover Letter</li> <li>Resume</li> <li>Referee contact details.
