We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced STEAM teacher. This is a part-time (3 days per week), permanent position commencing asap.

<p>Applications are invited from qualified teachers with experience or qualifications in STEM to teach K-6 classes.&nbsp; Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is looking for a teacher who is interested in working in a Christian school that is committed to explicit instruction and high expectations of student effort and behaviour. Located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, the College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p> <p><strong>Teaching and Learning</strong></p> <p>As the Junior School STEM teacher, your primary focus is to inspire and educate students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. You will:</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Have an excellent knowledge of the NSW Science and Technology K-6 syllabus</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create engaging and age-appropriate STEM programs for Kindergarten to Year 6 students.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaborate with classroom teachers to maximise learning for all students.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce to help them to improve.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Effectively teach students with identified additional needs.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Be highly organised, professional and committed to ongoing development.</p> <p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contributing to the student wellbeing program and extra-curricular activities.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.</p> <p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Attending College events.</p> <p><strong>The Contract</strong></p> <p>All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools Standards Model Multi Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The MEA outlines teacher’s salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities. The days of the week the successful applicant will work can be discussed at interview.</p> <p><strong>Child Safety</strong></p> <p>The College actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students and requires all prospective staff to be suitable and committed to protecting students from harm in the school environment.
