An exciting opportunity exists to join the dedicated and vibrant team at St James Primary School. We are seeking passionate and committed educators who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine desire to nurture the whole child in a faith filled learning environment. This is a fulltime teaching role commencing 27th January 2026.
<p><strong>The successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>be committed to the Catholic Identity and mission of our school,</li> <li>have knowledge and experience in teaching Sacramental programs,</li> <li>engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a positive school culture,</li> <li>demonstrate strong knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning, and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0,</li> <li>build caring, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families,</li> <li>deliver engaging, structured programs in Literacy and Numeracy,</li> <li>differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs and use assessment to inform teaching,</li> <li>embrace innovation, collaboration, and the effective use of digital technologies,</li> <li>support the MACS Vision for Instruction and the Explicit Teaching Model,</li> <li>inspire students to be confident learners and active contributors in their community, and</li> <li>join a welcoming and supportive school community where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive.</li> </ul>
