Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is seeking a Procurement Category Advisor to join our Procurement Team. This is an exciting ongoing full-time opportunity reporting to the Procurement Manager.
<p>Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position is responsible for managing strategic ICT & Capital Planning and Infrastructure relationships and performance of associated contracts. The role works collaboratively with enterprise stakeholders to develop and implement subcategory plans, providing differentiated processes based on risk and enabling efficient business-led purchasing. The role is responsible for overseeing operational ICT and Capital Planning and Infrastructure procurement and renewal services. </p>

<p><i>The CESL Office Team comprises of close to 150 employees working across 7 key functional areas, supporting over 50 schools and early childhood centres within the Sandhurst Diocese. We are a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working collaboratively with our schools to achieve the best outcomes possible for our students. With office locations in Bendigo, Wangaratta and Tatura.</i></p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end category management, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation and supplier performance management.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets, commercial outcomes and supplier risk within complex, multi stakeholder environments.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of legislation and compliance requirements, including OH&S, Modern Slavery, Building Codes and other procurement regulations.</li>
<li>Highly developed analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess risk and make evidence-based decisions.</li>
<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build effective supplier relationships.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.</li>
<li>High level of attention to detail, accuracy and professional judgement in managing contracts, compliance and procurement activities.</li>
<li>Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently, show initiative and drive continuous improvement.</li>
