<p><strong>An Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>Luther College seeks to appoint a talented HR and Payroll professional to fulfill the role of HR and Payroll Officer, providing HR and Payroll support to the Human Resources Business Partner and the Assistant Business Manager in the delivery of the employee lifecycle functions. This is a full-time position where no two days are the same. This role will commence in 2026.</p>
<p>The HR and Payroll Officer will work collaboratively with the Business Office and the Principal’s office, performing HR and payroll activities across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on the administration of recruitment, selection and onboarding, employment correspondence and payroll, data and records management, systems maintenance, employee compliance, professional development and maintaining training records. In addition to these duties the HR and Payroll Officer will provide high level employee advice and answer payroll queries under the guidance of the HR Business Parter, Assistant Business Manager, the Business Manager and the Principal’s Office.</p>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are an experience HR/Payroll professional seeking an opportunity to strengthen your experience across end-to-end employee lifecycle activities. A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you are able to interpret policies, procedures and industrial instruments to ensure strong an accurate outcomes for the College. </p>
<p>You are recognised as an outstanding HR and Payroll administrator with an exceptional eye for detail and a desire to learn through hands on experience. You are self-motivated and energetic by nature with an adaptive and flexible work style, demonstrating that you can prioritise work with ease in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</p>
<p>Ideally you hold an undergraduate qualification in business, HR or a related discipline, or are on your way to attaining the qualification. </p>
