<p> <br><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>
<p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Learning Partner - Horizons Curriculum Development</strong> to join our Student Achievement Workstream. You will lead the design and development of the Horizons Curriculum throughout 2026. This curriculum will serve as a flexible, future-focused alternative Stage 6 pathway that equips students for post-school life through deep engagement with industry, community, and tertiary education. </p>
<p>This is a <strong>temporary, full-time role</strong> <strong>for the 2026 School year</strong> based at our head office in Pennant Hills, with expectations to travel to MacKillop Catholic College Warnervale and other CSBB schools across our Diocese. </p>
<p>Reporting to the Pathways and Partnerships Lead, you will work closely with staff from MacKillop Catholic College, CCC, and other CSBB schools to ensure the Horizons Curriculum reflects student needs, aligns with the Catholic mission, and responds to emerging workforce demands. </p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the development and mapping of the Horizons Curriculum, ensuring alignment with NESA/ASQA Stage 6 requirements and CSBB's Post School Life vision </li>
<li>Integrate Human Capabilities, interdisciplinary learning, and real-world experiences (e.g. work-integrated learning, service learning, micro-credentials) into curriculum design </li>
<li>Facilitate consultation with MacKillop Catholic College, CSBB schools, students, parents, alumni, industry, tertiary providers, and community/religious organisations </li>
<li>Liaise with NESA and internal CSBB curriculum and compliance teams to ensure credentialing and pathway alignment </li>
<li>Conduct research into best practice for alternative schooling models and emerging trends in work and education </li>
<li>Document and present curriculum materials for internal and external approval </li>
<li>Provide recommendations for required staffing, facilities, and partnerships to support 2027 implementation </li>
<li>CSBB employees contribute to the shared responsibility of safeguarding students, ensuring professional boundaries, and upholding duty of care legislative requirements </li>

<p> <strong>Specific Criteria</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated professional experience in education, community or industry </li>
<li>Has a valid WWCC (or willingness to obtain) </li>
<li>A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety </li>
<li>Current NSW driver’s licence Current NSW Driver’s Licence (and own car required) as there is an expectation that travel is required across the geographic span of the Diocese </li>
<li>Has solutions-focused mindset and flexibility </li>
<li>Has a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience </li>
<li>Is energised by working in a fast-paced environment </li>
<li>Is adaptive and responsive to change and can adapt to working under pressure and re-prioritising tasks </li>
<li>Can manage competing priorities and the sensitivities of others to deliver high quality work </li>
