Marketing & Communications Officer

The Marketing and Communications officer drives the school's marketing and communications strategies to strengthen its reputation, attract and retain enrolments, and engage the community. The role oversees internal and external communications, digital and traditional marketing, and fosters strong connections with families and staff.

<li>Demonstrated capacity to manage a broad range of marketing tools</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity for effective management to achieve agreed goals and strategic targets</li>
<li>Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships across the school community</li>
<li>Demonstrated support for and the capacity to develop and maintain an organisational culture based on Christian, professional and personal behaviours and the school’s core values</li>
<li>Creative and innovative mindset</li>
<li>Evidence of the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work well under pressure and to meet timelines/deadlines</li>
<li>Evidence of preparation and implementation of clear marketing and<br>
communication plans, results monitoring and evaluation</li>
<li>Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, In Design. An ability to operate on both the Windows and Mac platform is desirable but not essential</li>
<li>Web design and management skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated skills in the use of various types of social media with reference to marketing</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications and/or Public Relations OR five years relevant experience </li>
<li>NSW Working with Children Check</li>
<li>National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)</li>
<li>Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team. </li>
