<p><strong>About our School</strong></p>
<p>Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. Tyndale is therefore committed to partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred Biblical education.</p>
<p><strong>About the role</strong><br>
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed counsellors to fulfil the part-time (3 days a week) permanent role of Head School Counsellor. The position will commence at the start of the 2026 school year.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<p>· Christian of a <a href="https://www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/reformed-theology/" rel="nofollow">Reformed/Evangelical persuasion</a>, who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church</p>
<p>· Whole-heartedly subscribe to the School’s <a href="http://www.tyndale.edu.au/about-us/educational-creed/" rel="nofollow">Educational Creed</a></p>
<p>· Work With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance</p>
<p>· Has experience working with children and young people in a counselling capacity</p>
<p>· Has qualifications in counselling or social work and who holds a current professional membership with a relevant professional body (ACA, CCAA, AASW)</p>
<p>· Enjoys working collaboratively as a team</p>
<p>· Is passionate and committed to supporting and improving the wellbeing of children and young people</p>
<p>· Has effective communication and interpersonal skills to enable interaction and communication with students, staff, parents and external services</p>
<p>· Has excellent organisational and information technology skills.</p>

<p>· Experience working in schools</p>
