Learning Enrichment Educator, 0.6 FTE Permanent Part-time Position (Additional FTE available by negotiation) commencing Term 1 .2026

<p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p> <p>The Learning Enrichment Educator is responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing enrichment programs that support the academic and social-emotional growth of students. The role focuses on identifying students' unique strengths and challenges and providing tailored educational experiences that extend beyond their year level curriculum (Australian Curriculum). The Learning Enrichment educator works closely with educators, parents, and school leaders to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that nurtures each student's potential.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of teaching and learning theories and practice, with a broad knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum. They will be passionate about fostering a love of learning in students, creative and innovative in designing learning experiences and empathetic and patient, with a strong commitment to student success.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>The role is primarily based within the school, with some responsibilities requiring attendance at external events and student competitions outside regular hours. The educator may work with students across various year levels and must be adaptable to different educational needs.</p> <p><strong>Pre-requisites &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <p>These qualifications/certificates are required prior to commencing employment at HILLS and must be updated for the duration of employments at HILLS:-</p> <ul> <li>Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia</li> <li>Relevant Qualification and/or Experience in Gifted &amp; Talented programs</li> <li>Current Working with Children Check</li> <li>Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse &amp; Neglect Certificate (RRHAN-EC)</li> <li>Current First Aid Certificate</li> <li>Current Driver’s Licence</li> </ul>
