<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As a <strong>HSIE Coordinator</strong>, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a full-time, permanent (1FTE) 2 point position and will attract a 2 point time and remuneration allocation. You'll be able to:</p>
<ul>
<li>provide leadership and oversight of all HSIE teaching and learning, ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery and assessment</li>
<li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach HSIE. The ability to teach Legal Studies and/or Business Studies is advantageous</li>
<li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>create and utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li>
<li>support and mentor teachers through professional development, feedback, and shared learning approaches</li>
<li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li>
<li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li>
<li>contribute to the wider life of the school through Co-Curricular involvement, events, and professional learning initiatives</li>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
