Wenona is seeking two experienced Teacher Aides to support students and classrooms while fostering a culture of service, integrity, and kindness.

<p>Wenona is seeking two experienced Teacher Aide’s to join our team and provide a broad range of support to our students. This role contributes to the overall support and reinforcement of classroom objectives, whilst contributing to a positive internal culture where service, integrity, kindness and humour are valued.</p> <p>Wenona aims to encourage, challenge, extend and nurture each student in a way that allows her to achieve her full potential. To achieve this, Wenona prides itself on attracting intelligent, inspiring and motivated employees who serve to role model strong, positive relationships and is committed to fostering an environment where all staff are passionate about refining their skills and pursuing a love of learning.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support teachers in delivering learning programs by adapting activities, reinforcing classroom objectives, and assisting with individual and group instruction aligned with IEPs.</li> <li>Assist students with additional needs through classroom support, behaviour support strategies, organisational skills, and the implementation of school routines.</li> <li>Monitor and document student progress, contributing to IEP reviews and supporting positive learning outcomes.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Learning Enrichment team, Heads of School, professionals, and families to ensure inclusive and coordinated support for students.</li> <li>Supervise students in indoor and outdoor environments, supporting safe participation in School and co-curricular activities, including transitions.</li> <li>Provide first aid and personal care support (e.g., toileting, feeding, changing) and undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Learning Enrichment.</li> </ul> <p>We are looking to fill a permanent full-time (1.0FTE) and permanent part-time position (0.6FTE) with a Term 1 2026 start.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will have experience and qualifications in providing support to our students. You will display a passion and dedication for working with students with diverse learning needs.
