<p><strong>About Cooma, NSW</strong></p>
<p>Cooma is a key service town situated east of the Snowy Mountains, between Bega and Tumut. The town boasts a vibrant commercial centre and scenic parklands, including Centennial Park, where an avenue of international flags pays tribute to the immigrants who contributed to the Snowy Mountains hydroelectric scheme. Cooma also serves as a convenient base for exploring the Snowy Mountains region, with the resort town of Jindabyne just 45 minutes away, along with nearby snowfields and mountain villages.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p>
<p>The Physical Education (PE) and Health Teacher educates students across infants and primary using approved techniques and resources aligned with the curriculum, providing regular assessment and feedback and maintaining accurate records. Specific duties of the role will include planning physical education programs to promote development of student's physical fitness and social skills, coordinating individual and team sports for students, using knowledge of sports techniques and of physical capabilities of students and organising sporting carnivals and events – both within the school and at regional level.</p>
<p><i>This appointment is temporary to replace an employee on leave/secondment.</i></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>

<li>Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.</li>
<li>Working With Children Check (WWCC).</li>
<li>NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.</li>
