<p>The College is seeking a Learning Enhancement &amp; Diversity Coordinator who is responsible for the coordination of support to student with additional needs.</p> <p>Position of Leadership roles with the College are appointed on a three-year basis. POL 4 - Time Allowance 38 periods.</p> <p><strong>The main responsibilities of the position include:</strong><br> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Planning, chairing and actioning items from PSG meetings;</li> <li>Coordination of all Learning Support Officers to assist with the inclusion of students with a disability into the spiritual, social and academic life of the College;</li> <li>Develop data to the NCCD of students who require additional support ;</li> <li>Provide leadership and coaching to mainstream teachers whose students with additional needs require reasonable adjustments that match their ILP.</li> <li>Liaison with primary schools to ensure smooth transition into year 7;</li> <li>Create Individual Learning Plans for funded students;</li> <li>Liaise with external bodies in the provision of screening, testing and support for students who have additional needs’</li> <li>Formation of support strategies for students;</li> <li>Monitoring and catering for the needs of students with physical disabilities;</li> <li>Other duties as outlined in the Position Description.<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will address the 5 Key Selection Criteria:</p> <ol> <li>Demonstrated understanding of state and national education policies and legislative obligations relating to students with disability</li> <li>Proven experience in implementing inclusive teaching practices informed by MTSS, RTI, and UDL</li> <li>Extensive experience supporting diverse learning needs through effective use of assessment data to design and deliver evidenced-based interventions.</li> <li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead inclusive practice and multidisciplinary teams.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in executing NCCD processes and practices</li> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please complete an online application at <a href="https://www.sbc.vic.edu.au/about-us/employment-opportunities" rel="nofollow">www.sbc.vic.edu.au/about/employment</a> by clicking on the 'Apply Now' button.
