Lycée Condorcet, The International French School of Sydney is looking for an experienced OOSH Center Manager to join the team on a permanent part time basis.

<p>The Center Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operation of the OOSH service at Lycée Condorcet. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:<br><br><strong>Operation, Administrative and Academic Responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the day-to-day operation of the service in line with the NQF, seven areas of NQS.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Be the responsible person in charge of the service and in absence ensure that another responsible person (as defined by the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011) is in charge of the service.</li> <li>Update and implement the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) as required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Evaluate, update and implement service policies and procedures, including risk minimisation, medical minimisation plans and individual medical records and enrolment documents<br><br><strong>Children’s health and safety</strong></li> <li>Ensure that the children are safe and adequately supervised at all times.</li> <li>Ensure compliance as a mandated reporter in accordance with the service’s Child Protection Policy.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of staff and children being educated and cared for by the service.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Staff Management and Development&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Draft and manage OOSH Staff rosters. Provide clear, effective and supportive leadership to OOSH Staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Plan and monitor the Professional Development of OOSH Staff. Manage the appraisal of OOSH Staff in consultation with Head of Compliance&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate changes to regulations to OOSH Staff as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaborative partnerships with families and communities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Promote clear communication between the service, managers, staff and families.&nbsp;</li> <li>Build effective local networks within the local area including relevant community organisations and government agencies.</li> <li>Manage events and experiences with children which promote awareness of their community and reflect child-centred learning.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>This is a Permanent Part-time position (30 hours/week on 48 weeks) and the working hours are:</p> <p>-Term weeks: 11.30 am – 6.00pm</p> <p>- Vacation Care: 7.30am – 2.00pm</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
