We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to commence asap.

<p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a well regarded independent co-educational Christian school with over 1600 students from Pre-K to Year 12.&nbsp; The College, located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, is committed to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace for employees. RHAC has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.&nbsp;</p> <p>An exciting opportunity exists for a Communications Coordinator who will coordinate the communication of key college events and activities with parents and caregivers.</p> <p>Christians who are actively involved in a church are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Produce the weekly school community newsletter.</li> <li>Promote the College through social media with the support and guidance of the Senior Executive team.</li> <li>Work with staff to ensure that communication with parents about significant events and activities is accurate, clear and timely.</li> <li>Support and contribute to marketing initiatives such as an annual Hills District Schools Expo.</li> <li>Take and collate photos to use to promote the school in newsletters and social media. This will involve attending some key events such as significant sporting events, special student activities and parent engagement evenings.</li> <li> <p>Engage and liaise with professional contractors to produce marketing material.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Attributes&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Able to perceive which school activities and initiatives should be promoted to the broader school community.</li> <li>A strong command of written English and an ability to proof check written information.</li> <li>Able to work under pressure, be well organised and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Preferred applicants will have relevant qualifications and/or experience working in communications roles.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What are the employment arrangements?</strong></p> <p>The College is happy to receive applications from applicants who are seeking:</p> <ul> <li>A full time role working 48 weeks per year.</li> <li>Working 5 days per week during school terms, with some additional days of work during school holidays as needed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Some out of hours work will be required. Ideally the successful applicant would be able to start work before the end of 2025; however, the College is able to arrange for the appointee to start no later than Tuesday 27 January.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Contract</strong></p> <p>The employment contract will be based on the <i>Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025</i>. This is often referred to as the PAOS CMEA. The specific salary will be determined after considering the skills and experience of shortlisted applicants.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Child Safety</strong></p> <p>The College is committed to effectively and practically implementing the&nbsp;<a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-12/g_CSS_GuidetotheStandards.pdf?Embed=Y" rel="nofollow">Child Safe Standards</a>&nbsp;developed by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
