<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
As the <strong>Acting Teacher Librarian</strong>, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>an understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic Church</li>
<li>skills in maintaining an efficient and thorough system of identifying, organising, circulating and retrieving resources, specifically utilising the Oliver library system</li>
<li>an understanding of library collection management, including purchasing, budgeting and culling to ensure a balanced and rich collection to meet the needs of students and staff</li>
<li>demonstrated exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies</li>
<li>demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogies, including flexible learning spaces and team teaching and information and communication technologies</li>
<li>ability to manage contemporary library spaces to accommodate a range of purposes and audiences, such as student wellbeing, study groups, staff learning and literacy activities</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to support the continual development of information literacy for staff and students, with the intention of building lifelong learners</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to work effectively within and across a range of teams to support their collaborative goals in alignment with the school plan</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to develop innovative programs to engage students in a love of reading and writing</li>
<li>effective communication and engagement skills with students, staff and parents</li>
<li>a commitment to growing the College's culture of learning and thinking</li>
<li>experience in leading whole-school student learning as a KLA Coordinator</li>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation.</li>
