Prince of Peace Lutheran College in Brisbane is seeking Secondary Teachers in PE, Mathematics, Science, Legal Studies, and Business. Applicants must demonstrate subject expertise, effective behaviour management, strong communication/administration skills, and commitment to professional growth aligned with the College’s Christian values.

<p><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College is a K-12 co-educational, independent, Christian school located in the north-western suburbs of Brisbane. The College was established by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation in 1984 to provide quality Christian education to the children of the community.</i></p> <p><i>Prince of Peace Lutheran College offers classes on two sites from Kindergarten to Year 12 with approximately 670 students enrolled. The Junior Campus (K-6) is located at Rogers Parade West, Everton Park. The Middle &amp; Senior Campus, 1 km away at Henderson Road, Everton Hills was opened in July 2009 and is home to Years 7-12.</i></p> <p><strong>Due to our exciting restructure of leadership positions, we are currently seeking to fill the following Secondary Teaching positions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Physical Education</li> <li>Mathematics – particularly Methods and Specialist</li> <li>Science – particularly Physics and Engineering</li> <li>Legal Studies</li> <li>Business</li> </ul> <p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p> <p><strong>Applicants must be able to demonstrate:</strong></p> <ol> <li>Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration</li> <li>Demonstrated skills and experience in subject area which enable all students to achieve their full potential</li> <li>Effective behaviour management skills, aligned with Restorative Practices and consistent with the College policies and guidelines.</li> <li>Excellent communication and administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping, reporting, and coordination of excursions and activities.</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional growth, and alignment with the College’s values, ethos, and strategic direction.</li> </ol>
