<p>St Clement of Rome Catholic Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly organised <strong>Administration Officer</strong> to join our dynamic school community. The successful applicant will manage the front office of our school. &nbsp;This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, providing essential administrative support to the Principal and staff while maintaining a welcoming and professional front office environment.</p> <p><i>This job is advertised as a contract position, however an <strong>ongoing position can be negotiated</strong> by the successful applicant.</i></p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Administration Officer is the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, playing a crucial role in communication and school operations. Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Managing reception duties, phone calls, and correspondence.</li> <li>Providing administrative support, including student records management and processing purchase orders.</li> <li>Assisting with financial tasks such as receipting and banking.</li> <li>Supporting enrolment processes and promotional activities.</li> <li>Upholding Child Safe Standards and ensuring compliance with policies</li> <li>Be competent with Emergency Management processes</li> <li>Administering first aid and maintaining office supplies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who We Are Looking For</strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li>Patience and demonstrate empathy</li> <li>An awareness of Duty of Care responsibilities</li> <li>The capability to work as part of a team</li> <li>Strong administrative and organisational skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li> <li>Proficiency in computer systems and office software.</li> <li>A friendly and professional approach to working with students, staff, and families.</li> <li>A commitment to child safety and the Catholic ethos of the school.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Position Details</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Full-time role:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:20 PM</li> <li>Experience with platforms such as Canva, nForma, Synergetic and/or eSIS would be beneficial.</li> </ul> <p>A full role description is attached below.</p> <p>This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive and supportive school environment.
