ECT for 2026 Kindy Program small community run service 15 -20 children

<p>We are seeking a passionate and committed Early Childhood Teacher to enhance our professional team and mentor our studying ECT. &nbsp; This position is attractive part-time or full-time highly supported role with staffing, mentoring and resources&nbsp;in an environment that promotes work / life balance with high expectations and commitment to the education and care of young children.&nbsp;</p> <p>Start from Term 1, 2026.</p> <p><strong>What you would be doing</strong></p> <p>As the Kindergarten ECT you will:</p> <ul> <li>Be available to implement the Kindergarten Program in the Centre and work as support staff on non-Kindy days.</li> <li>have set shifts and non-contact planning time on site, one full day per week.</li> <li>Develop the routine, program and experiences using the QKLG and Developed Curriculum Possibilities with Leadership &amp; Educational Leader support.</li> <li>High resource budget and well resourced environment</li> <li>Use a wide range of teaching methods to enhance the kindergarten program&nbsp;and work with existing transition networks to school.</li> <li>Create&nbsp;and maintain an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment</li> <li>Establish and maintain excellent relationships with children, families, carers and other team members</li> <li>Use a high level of written, interpersonal and communication skills to document the program and children's learning.</li> <li>Ensure&nbsp;compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their learning and development with proven experience in a similar role</li> <li>Bachelor of Teaching / Education (Early Childhood) or previous tertiary Children's Services Qualifications and / or experience.</li> <li>Knowledge and / or experience in developing and implementing programs to meet the National Quality Standard.</li> <li>Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care</li> <li>Current Working with Children check, and Child Protection Certificates</li> <li>Previous experience with OWNA is favourable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why apply?</strong></p> <p>Reasons why we think this is a great role include:</p> <ul> <li>Opportunities for growth and professional development.</li> <li>Join a strong, passionate and supportive team that values child safety</li> <li>Work / life / family balance - rostered hours negotiable on a fortnightly roster, min 6 days per fortnight plus one planning day.
