<p>We are seeking an innovative Religious Education Leader. &nbsp;The POL 2 position will have a FTE of 0.4 and a classroom position to 0.6. The REL tenure will be for 3 years.</p> <p>Our staff, in partnership with our Parish, strive to ensure that the children in our care have the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with God through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching and a commitment to student and family wellbeing.&nbsp;</p> <p>St Joseph’s Primary School &nbsp;is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of the children in our care.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Applicants require:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A deep understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education as a mission of the Catholic Church in Australia.</li> <li>Expert knowledge in the area of Catholic Identity and Religious Education.</li> <li>Advanced skills in the development and application of innovative Religious Education learning and teaching strategies.</li> <li>The ability to facilitate professional learning in the areas of Catholic Identity and Religious Education.</li> <li>A highly developed capacity to work with leadership to support schools to identify and address areas for improvement in the context of Catholic Identity and Religious Education.</li> <li>The ability to analyse and interpret data sets that may support school improvement and strategic planning.</li> <li>Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> <li>Evidence of working towards or having academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education. A Masters in Religious Education or Educational Leadership will be seen as an advantage</li> <li>Relevant experience within the last five (5) years in Catholic parish primary schools, or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools</li> <li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education</li> <li>Evidence of&nbsp; involvement in their own Parish.</li> <li>A commitment to Child Safe Standards and the wellbeing of children</li> <li>Current VIT registration.</li> </ul>
