The College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated VET Teacher to join our team in an ongoing role. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for electrotechnology and offer engaging teaching and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire our students. The position is estimated to be 0.7 FTE (3 days per week) for commencement at the start of Term 1, 2026.

<p>St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school located in Devonport catering for students from Years 7 to 12. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for electrotechnology and offer engaging teaching and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire our students.<br> The position is estimated to be 0.7 FTE (3 days per week) for commencement at the start of Term 1, 2026.</p> <p>Applicants will:</p> <ul> <li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education</li> <li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching</li> <li>Be willing to participate full in the life of the school</li> <li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications i.e. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain)</li> <li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or Specialist Vocational Education and Training (VET) Registration (or be willing to obtain)</li> </ul> <p>Catholic Education Tasmania supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
