<p>St Brendan-Shaw College is a Catholic, co-educational secondary school located in Devonport catering for students from Years 7 to 12. The College is committed to creating a learning environment that fosters excellence, compassion and service in our students.</p> <p>The College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated VET Teacher to join our team in an ongoing role. Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate a passion for electrotechnology and offer engaging teaching and learning experiences that will challenge and inspire our students.<br> The position is estimated to be 0.7 FTE (3 days per week) for commencement at the start of Term 1, 2026.</p> <p>Applicants will:</p> <ul> <li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education</li> <li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching</li> <li>Be willing to participate full in the life of the school</li> <li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications i.e. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain)</li> <li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or Specialist Vocational Education and Training (VET) Registration (or be willing to obtain)</li> </ul> <p>Catholic Education Tasmania supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
