This role is one of the most senior positions in the School and sits on the School Executive. The Dean of Senior School is expected to oversee and delegate to other staff to achieve the expected outcomes for students in Years 10-12. This is a strategic leadership position, not a general management position, and generally has no timetabled classes allocated.

<p>The Headmaster seeks to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Christian educator who displays a commitment to their Christian faith, evidenced by regular attendance at a Bible Believing Church, to this full-time permanent Executive position. The successful candidate will join the highly professional, dynamic, and strategically focused School Executive.</p> <p>This role is one of the most senior positions in the School, and as such, is expected to oversee and delegate to other staff to achieve the expected outcomes. This is a strategic leadership position, not a general management position, and generally has no timetabled classes allocated.</p> <p>The Dean of Senior School reports directly to the Deputy Headmaster (Director of Culture) and the Director of Studies, and through them to the Headmaster. From time to time and depending on the matter, direct reporting to the Headmaster is appropriate and warranted.</p> <p>The Dean of Senior School has, as a primary focus, academic advice and pastoral care for students in Years 10 to 12.&nbsp; They are the School’s nominated person to liaise with students and parents in matters relating to Student Welfare and Teaching and Learning.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The Dean of Senior School works closely with the Assistant Deans of Senior School, the Head of Learning Enrichment, the Heads of House, the Pastoral Care Liaison team, the Chaplain, the Heads of Faculty and the Heads of Teaching and Learning 7-12 on operational and administrative matters related to the Senior School.</p> <p>The successful candidate must also demonstrate innovative use of ICT and the desire to contribute to the outdoor education and co-curricular programmes that provide a rich experience for our students.</p> <p>The <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NPWlLUO30_tiRpmTrFaV531n5vwGQ4Lf/view?usp=sharing" rel="nofollow">Role Description</a> is available for viewing using the link provided.</p> <p>Applications for this position are only accepted via the Teaching Staff&nbsp;<a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTXImS75urI84FEHX-vsxSwTiTx1LW0QadzgeKeHGM0WmbiA/viewform" rel="nofollow">Online Application Form</a>.
