<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>As the Human Resources and Compliance Manager at Ignatius Park College, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the College community by fostering a positive, professional, and values-driven workplace culture. You will play a key role in supporting staff wellbeing, development, and performance, while ensuring that all HR practices and compliance frameworks align with the College’s mission and strategic goals. </p>
<p><strong>About the contract</strong></p>
<p>The position is<strong> Permanent, Full Time (38 hours per week)</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this role you will need:</p>
<ul>
<li>Valid working rights within Australia.</li>
<li>Possess a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card for paid employees before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by Queensland Government.</li>
<li>Bachelor level qualifications in human resource management, law, business or related disciplines.</li>
<li>Post Graduate Management qualification (desirable).</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of contemporary human resource/employee relations/risk and compliance management practices.</li>
<li>Highly developed knowledge and interpretation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Industrial Awards and legislation such as Fair Work Act, Workplace Health and Safety Act, and the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience working in a human resource and risk and compliance role in a diverse organisation. (Experience in the Education sector is desirable.)</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in implementing HRM, WHS and Risk & Compliance systems and processes to a broad range of employees with a focus on continuous improvement and positive cultural change.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience developing, documenting and implementing policies and procedures for a large organisation.</li>
<li>Proven ability to model the highest standard of ethical and professional behaviour and act with integrity and confidentiality.</li>
