The POR Level 4 allowance ($27,135) is paid in addition to your teaching step rate (eg. Teaching Step 10 $125,789 + POR allowance).&nbsp; The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices of teaching, learning and wellbeing approaches.&nbsp; The position description is attached.&nbsp;</p> <p>This Junior School role has the following significant responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Staff leadership, management and care</li> <li>Student leadership, management and care</li> <li>School community relations</li> <li>Curriculum support</li> <li>General administration</li> </ul> <p><strong>Trinity College</strong> is a thriving multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition and located in the northern Adelaide region. Co-curricular activities (cultural and physical) are part of a total education in a caring, Christian environment.</p> <p><strong>To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Suitable tertiary qualifications.</li> <li>Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration.</li> <li>Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian education.</li> <li>Have the desire and skills to participate in the school's pastoral care programme.</li> <li>Have the desire and skills to participate in the College's co-curricular programme.</li> <li>Be passionate about understanding how learning occurs and teaching pedagogies suitable for junior school aged students.</li> <li>Be able to build and lead a cohesive staff team with a common vision.</li> <li>Have the interpersonal skills to quickly achieve trust and respect from the teaching team.</li> <li>Be able to respond positively to the expectations of a modern school.</li> <li>Be able to set high standards for student learning and teacher performance.</li> <li>Be able to lead other staff in the use of appropriate information and communication tools in classroom pedagogy.</li> <li>Have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.</li> <li>Have the knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.</li> </ul> <p>All Trinity College staff are required to comply with the College's Child Safe policy and adhere to the Child Safety Code of Conduct.</p> <p>Please ensure that you include a <strong>covering letter</strong> addressing the&nbsp;following criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Experience and expertise in teaching and education, including what you value in a successful education model and your leadership style and experience.</li> <li>Knowledge of contemporary teaching pedagogy and assessment practices.</li> <li>Commitment to and understanding of Christian education.</li> <li>Including a current cv,&nbsp; 2 referees and their current contact details.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Flourish.
