This is with a view to engendering innovative learning and teaching, with a focus on continual improvement in student learning outcomes;</li> <li>Work in collaboration with the&nbsp;Year 9 teaching staff and Data and Progression Leader to actively monitor student progress through Synergetic and the BASE&nbsp;</li> <li>Guide and support staff and students to create a learning environment and culture that promotes student wellbeing and resilience;</li> <li>Set the professional standards for members of their team – supporting the performance and development of Class/House Mentors in coming to understand the intrinsic links between wellbeing and learning</li> <li>Adhering to the school's Child Protection Policy and Child Safety Staff Code of Conduct.</li> <li>Ensuring up-to-date student data management systems.</li> <li>Complying with ongoing professional development requirements as per VIT guidelines.</li> <li>Actively engaging in internal and external professional development to enhance teaching practices.</li> <li>Utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources to effectively engage students in their learning journey.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Skills/Experience Required:</u></strong></p> <p>We require the following qualifications and qualities in the ideal candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification (Masters Degree an advantage)</li> <li>Experience in relevant educational leadership.</li> <li>Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.</li> <li>A strong commitment to Catholic education.</li> <li>Ability to build and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li> <li>Skills to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.</li> <li>An eagerness to learn and grow in the field of education.</li> <li>Proficiency in implementing a differentiated curriculum and leveraging modern technology to support student learning.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Special Requirements:</u></strong></p> <p>At De La Salle College, the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children are paramount.
