The College seeks to appoint a dynamic, flexible, enthusiastic and proactive Teacher Librarian or teacher retraining to become a Teacher Librarian, to work in our vibrant and busy library. The successful applicant will work collaboratively in a team environment.

<p><i>Founded in 1881 by the&nbsp;Marist&nbsp;Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist&nbsp;spirituality and&nbsp;traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment&nbsp;is 1,100 students.</i></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Teacher Librarian</strong></p> <p><i>Part-time (0.8fte Tuesday – Friday), Fixed term contract (one year)&nbsp;</i></p> <p><i>Commencing Term 1, 2026 with the possibility of becoming permanent in 2027</i></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The College seeks to appoint a dynamic, flexible, enthusiastic and proactive Teacher Librarian or teacher retraining to become a Teacher Librarian, to work in our vibrant and busy library. The successful applicant will work collaboratively in a team environment. As a specialist in Young Adult literature, you will encourage and develop enthusiasm for reading in students. You possess the ability to plan and deliver innovative and effective information fluency skills across the curriculum.
