Arndell Anglican College seeks a passionate PDHPE Teacher to inspire student wellbeing, learning, and active lifestyles in a supportive, Christ-centred P–12 community. Commencing Term 1, 2026.

<p>Situated on 30 acres between Rouse Hill and Windsor, Arndell caters for a growing population of almost 1300 students – with over 500 in Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and just under 800 in Secondary School (Years 7 to 12). Students are encouraged to grow in their individual abilities and interests within a learning environment that promotes optimism, respect, and ownership. </p>
<p><strong>The Invitation</strong></p>
<p>Arndell Anglican College invites applications for the position of PDHPE Teacher, commencing Term 1, 2026.</p>
<p>The PDHPE Teacher is responsible for fostering student learning and development, nurturing creativity, academic achievement, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for physical education, health, and wellbeing.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of PDHPE and Sport P–12, the successful applicant will deliver engaging and innovative programs that promote active lifestyles, personal development, and student wellbeing. The PDHPE Teacher will also actively contribute to the wider life of the College, including co-curricular programs, pastoral care, sporting events, excursions, and at least one annual camp.</p>
<p>In particular, the PDHPE Teacher will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Teach PDHPE across Years 7–12, employing contemporary pedagogical approaches that engage and challenge students.</li>
<li>Design and deliver high-quality, learner-centred lessons that incorporate practical experiences, differentiated instruction, and authentic assessment.</li>
<li>Encourage students to explore and develop their physical capabilities, creativity, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Provide clear, fair, and constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.</li>
<li>Lead and coach sporting teams, and assist with College carnivals and inter-school sporting events.</li>
<li>Foster the use of technology to enhance learning and promote student engagement.</li>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular and interdisciplinary learning experiences.</li>
<li>Contribute to the Christian, pastoral, and community life of the College.</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>As a PDHPE Teacher, you hold tertiary qualifications in Education and are accredited (or eligible for accreditation) with NESA. You bring proven experience in delivering high-quality PDHPE programs and demonstrate a passion for supporting students’ holistic development - intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially.</p>
<p>You are enthusiastic, relational, and professional in your approach, demonstrating strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills. You value teamwork and contribute positively to a collegial staff culture. You model the Christian values of the College in your interactions with students, families, and colleagues, and seek to inspire young people to live healthy, active, and purposeful lives.</p>
