We are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6FTE) Learning Enrichment Teacher on a fixed term basis for the 2026 academic year, and commencing in Term 1.

We look for vibrant, dedicated, and capable staff who have initiative, empathy, a good sense of humour and a professional behaviour to help the School achieve its objectives.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.6FTE) Learning Enrichment Teacher on a fixed term basis for the 2026 academic year, and commencing in Term 1.</p> <p>Working within a dynamic and committed Learning Enhancement Team, this role is pivotal in extending and challenging Junior School students (Prep to Year 6) who demonstrate high capability and potential. If you are passionate about supporting diverse learners to achieve their potential, can inspire creative thinking in students, and have an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset we’d love to hear from you!</p> <p><strong>What You Need to Do to Succeed</strong></p> <ul> <li>Effectively design and implement enrichment programs that extend highly capable learners</li> <li>Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of twice exceptional students</li> <li>Implement entrepreneurial programs that foster problem-solving, innovation, creativity, and the real-world application of learning</li> <li>Create resources and toolkits for classroom teachers to support diverse learners</li> <li>Facilitate extension Mathematics groups for highly capable students, focusing on problem-solving, mathematical reasoning and advanced concepts</li> <li>Design and deliver small group and individual intervention programs</li> <li>Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and specialists (psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists) as required</li> <li>Liaise with families to ensure consistent support between home and school</li> <li>Communicate regularly with leadership regarding student progress and program effectiveness</li> <li>Contribute to team planning, professional dialogue, and shared decision-making</li> <li>Stay abreast of research and best practices in gifted education.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Education (or equivalent), postgraduate qualifications in Gifted Education (or related field), and current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li>Creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning</li> <li>Experience designing and delivering entrepreneurial or innovation-based programs</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and solution-focused mindset</li> <li>Strong background in Mathematics education and extension Mathematics pedagogy</li> <li>Knowledge of current research in neurodiversity and inclusive education</li> <li>Experience developing Individual Learning Plans and differentiated curriculum</li> <li>Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple completing priorities</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, families, and specialists</li> <li>Patience, empathy and the ability to build strong professional relationships with students</li> <li>Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development</li> <li>Current&nbsp;first&nbsp;aid, CPR and Working&nbsp;with&nbsp;Children (WWC) certificates (or willingness to obtain).</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will enjoy a stimulating work environment in a team of talented professionals, and attractive remuneration and benefits.</p> <p><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p>Further information, including a position description for this role is available at <a href="https://www.ascham.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ascham.nsw.edu.au</a></p> <p>If this sounds like you, please apply via SEEK no later than 11.59pm on Friday 14 November 2025.
